Sunday Cravings: Photo Apps
Out of all the photo-sharing apps out there Instagram has to be my favorite and like everyone else I want my pictures to look AMAZING, so today I'm sharing my favorite photo-editing apps to use before I post my pics to the feed.
VSCO Cam
If you only get one of the apps I mention
today make sure it’s this one. This app allows you some awesome free editing
tools and some basic free filters. If you’re like me you’ll splurge on the big
package that includes all the filters for $12.99. I suggest only getting the C3
and S3 filters, the only ones I use.
This app is great for adding borders around
photos if you want to give your insta-feed a theme without really having to
work for it. I used to use it all the time. It’s a great on to have in your
photo-editing folder.
This one can easily be over used and will
cause your photos to look over edited but if used properly it can get rid of
zits and help remove any noise from pictures. I like to use it if I want my
skin to look better. I would save this one for portraits only.
Similar to VSCO Cam, Aviary allows you to
do some basic photo editing as well as add fun patterned borders to your
photos. If you’re looking for something simple and easy then this one is for
you.
PicMonkey.com
Though this isn't a phone app, picmonkey.com is an amazing tool for editing photos. You can use it to edit your Insta pics then email it to your smartphone to upload. My favorite feature is the text tool. I also used it to create the BasicallyThis website header and logo. Play around with it and you'll realize there are an unbelievable amount of things you can do.
Check out my Instagram feed @basicallythis
and try to see what app I used for each of my pictures!
Let me know what apps you use and any I
should add to this list!
